We open our home as an air-conditioned safe haven for your dog and care about them as we do our own! Think of us like a boutique hotel or BnB for your dog when you go away. 

 

The term "Luxury" is our way of differentiating between overcrowded outdoor kennels, cages and scheduled pee breaks. Our doggy guests have full (supervised) roam of our house and access to our safe gated outdoor areas, just like they do in your home. At night our doggy guests always sleep inside with us in our room. We have extra beds or we encourage you to bring whatever your dog will be most comfortable with. Some dogs have been trained to sleep in a crate and that is their safe space so we have one on hand, just so you don't need to bring one.

We tend to keep our numbers between 5-8 or less. The higher end is only when we are really comfortable with all the guests booked in for those dates or if we have a lot of smaller dogs all at the same time. 

 

We are located in Nuevo Vallarta a 5 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by beautiful safe walking areas.

 

Included in every stay:

700 Pesos Per Dog Per Night

*Special needs or complicated daily medication may incur an additional fee per day. Please let us know. We have a lot of experience and are happy to help with whatever is required.

Making A Booking

​

•  To confirm any booking, we need a 50% deposit upfront to hold the dates. The remainder is upfront upon check-in. If you need to cancel, it’s non-refundable, but we can offer you a credit for the amount paid towards a future booking. We accept cash in pesos or PayPal with a 5% surcharge. 
   

• We ask that you provide the food for the full duration and arrange the drop-off and pick-up. Please note that if haven't provided the correct amount of food for the duration of the visit we will charge an additional 50 pesos per meal. 
   

• Our check-in is 2 pm and check-out is 2 pm. Please do let us know if you’re going to be late as there may be an additional charge. In many cases we can be flexible, so please just ask. 
   

• All dogs in our care must be Spayed/Neutered (unless under 2 years) and have all up-to-date vaccinations. Please ensure your dog also has been dewormed and is up-to-date with it’s their tick prevention treatment. If we have a dog who is under 2 years and has not been spayed or neutered then we will only book them if all the other dogs booked for those dates have been Spayed/Neutered.
   

• By paying for boarding services and dropping your dog off in our care, you explicitly agree to this boarding waiver. This agreement shall apply to all boarding visits by your dog to Pawsitively Perfect Dog Care (PPDC).

Drop Off Procedure

​

When we introduce new dogs to our existing guests and our dog Yoli, we always go for a walk to allow for them to sniff and get to know each other on neutral territory.

​

After, your dog will be invited into our home first, so all the other dogs will feel they have made the invitation themselves. Dogs are naturally territorial at the threshold of their domain, and this calms a lot of concerns/anxiety and will make your dog will feel the most welcome.

 

We would love for you to join us on this walk if you can make time for it. It’s not long, just enough to get everyone feeling good. I would ask that you please text when you arrive and wait in your car with your dog on its leash. I will come to greet you both and lead you into the pack. Once everyone is settled, we can return for beds, instructions, food and anything else you’ve brought for their care.
